How did it all begin? We started in a place that had lost its charm, and that we were willing to rescue. Murillo Café was born as a dream, a place to eat near the Prado Museum. Since 1927, this magical space has always hosted a cafe. Today, we have made it into a cozy bistro where we happily welcome neighbors, friends and visitors who fall in love, just like we did
with amazing Madrid.

Located right next to the Murillo Door of the Prado Museum, at Murillo Café we want to combine tradition and modernity, preserving the best of that old café of yesteryear. Our terrace with views of the Prado is the perfect setting to savor its gastronomic offer with a strong Mediterranean character.

On the menu, we have classics of Spanish cuisine such as patatas bravas, Russian salad or salmorejo but we also have international fare such as salads, chicken paillard, and our favorite Venezuelan dishes, tequeños, chicken pot pie and our family & amazing recipe, and best seller our Chocolate Fondant. Additionally, on weekends, Murillo offers a la carte brunch that has become a tradition in the neighborhood.
